Spring 2024 Colloquia

The Triton College Behavioral Science Department’s Spring 2024 Colloquia will be a book presentation of Everyday Armageddons: Stories and Reflections on Death, Dying, God and Waste, on Thursday, April 18, 1 p.m., in the Library (A Building), Room A-200, and on Zoom.

Everyday Armageddons: Stories and Reflections on Death, Dying, God and Waste, is a collection and an investigation of “ordinary deaths.” Ordinary deaths are deaths of people, whose passing will never make the news and whose stories won’t live on after their departure from life. These deaths take place behind closed doors in medical facilities and away from community. Everyday Armageddons sheds light on these deaths.

Join the authors of the book, Rev. Matthew J. Holmes and Rev. Thomas R. Gaulke, as they reflect on the contemporary phenomenon of death.

To join on Zoom, visit zoom.us/j/91448941820.
