
Facilities Engineering Technology
The Facilities Engineering Technology Degree is designed for students who are enrolled through the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE), Local 399 Education Training Fund to continue with their education and complete the coursework needed for an associate's degree.
Students will have the opportunity to acquire the skills needed for employment in jobs requiring multiple maintenance competencies, including electricity, plumbing, and boilers. These competencies will allow the students in this associate's degree program to obtain highly skilled maintenance positions in a variety of industries, office buildings, universities, hospitals, school districts, municipalities, stadia, and commercial/industrial facilities.
Graduates of the program may seek employment as a stationary operating engineer, a chief engineer, a facilities manager, a maintenance foreman, or a building maintenance supervisor.
