Access your Triton portal
Staff and Students will use the MyTriton Portal for registration, grades, class rosters, degree audit and more.
If you have questions about using your Triton College portal,

If you need assistance logging into your Triton College portal or email, please email webadvisor@triton.edu.
To verify your username, click the "Look Up Account " button below and complete the following steps:
- Enter your first name (optional).
- Enter your last name.
- Enter your email address. The email address you enter must be associated with your College record or you will not receive an email notification.
- Click submit. If your account can be identified, you will receive an email with your username.
To reset your password, click the "Reset Password " button below and complete the following steps:
- Enter your Triton email address and the captcha, then click "Next".
- Select "I forgot my password" then click "Next".
- Open your authenticator app for your Triton account to get a six-digit code. Enter the code and click "Next".
- Enter a new password and click "Finish".

Username/Password Format (and other First-Time User Information)
Usernames will be formatted as follows:
First name + Last name
For example: John Smith would be johnsmith
Your Triton College email address will be:
First name + Last name @triton.edu
For example: John Smith would be johnsmith@triton.edu
Note that if the username is already in use, a number may be added or a shortened version may be provided; use the username exactly as it appears in the e-mail.
Passwords will be formatted as follows:
First letter of your first name + first three letters of your last name + birth date in a six digit month, day, year format
For example: John Smith’s birthday is on July 1, 1990, so his password would appear as jsmi070190Once you log in for the first time, you should change your password. Navigate to the “Update My Profile” card and click the "Change Password" link. You will be taken to Triton’s Change Password page. Enter your old (current) password, your new password and password confirmation, then click "Submit" to change your password. You will need to sign in again.* If you do not receive an e-mail with your username and password, or are unsure of your account information, you can visit the Welcome Desk (Student Center, B Building) or contact the Call Center at (708) 456-0300, Ext. 3130.
Students, to have your account created you will need to complete a Triton College application and have completed your Triton College placement tests or have provided documentation of an equivalent completion. After your account is created you should receive an email with your username and your password.
Employees will have their account created and verified through HR upon entry into the system. After your account is created, employees will be notified of their username through their supervisor or HR department.
Logging off of the portal is important, especially when using a public computer.
To log off of the portal:
Navigate to the upper left corner and click the three lines displayed next to the
Triton College logo. Once the lines are clicked, the main menu will display, scroll
to the "Sign Out" option and click.
Once you click "Sign Out" in the menu, a pop-up will appear asking if you are sure your want to sign out. Click the "Sign Out" button. A new page will load, indicating that you have been signed out of your account.
