Start building your career from day one by meeting with a Career Services Specialist to develop your Career Plan.
- Meet with a Career Services Specialist to begin your Career Plan.
- Take the Super Strong Assessment and meet with a Career Services Specialist to discuss your results.
- Share your Super Strong Assessment results with your Academic Advisor to register for classes that are aligned with your career choices.
- Create a resume. Have your resume reviewed by a Career Services Specialist and update as needed.
- If your career path takes you to a 4-year institution, meet with the Transfer Center, located in B-110, to begin researching your next steps.
Gain Experience
Take the next step by gaining hands-on experience through various opportunities.
- Establish your LinkedIn account and begin networking with individuals in your field.
- Schedule an informational interview with a professional in your chosen field to explore your career choices further.
- Meet with a Career Services Specialist to discuss possible work-based learning opportunities or job opportunities.
- Secure an internship or employment opportunity designed to give you industry-based skills.
