Fall Fun Returns to Triton College with Glow Golf, Outdoor Movies, and Fall Fest

RIVER GROVE, Ill. – Triton College will welcome the fall season with an exciting lineup of events open to both the campus community and the public. From a family fun fest to outdoor movie nights, the schedule offers something for the whole family.

Alumni Association to Host a Glow Golf Outing

Grab your flashlight! Triton College’s Alumni Association will host its annual Glow Golf Outing on Friday, Sept. 12, from 7-10 p.m. at Indian Boundary Golf Course in Chicago. Happy hour begins at 6 p.m. and includes event check-in and the popular Bottle Bonanza Putting Contest.

Now in its 11th year, the Glow Golf Outing is the association’s largest annual fundraiser, according to Andy Hock, president of Triton’s Alumni Association Council. Proceeds benefit the Alumni Legacy Scholarship Fund, which awards four students a $500 scholarship each year.

“The association is dedicated to building and encouraging lifelong connections between alumni and Triton College,” said Tina Lilly, director of Triton’s Business Services. “Glow Golf is a unique and fun way to raise funds. We welcome all levels of play, as well as non-golfers who are invited to enjoy the festivities.”

The cost per golfer is $85, which includes a nine-hole glow-in-the-dark golf experience, golf carts, raffle participation, complimentary chair massage, participation in a putting contest and more. Non-golfer admission is $40, which includes food and a chair massage. Raffle tickets can be purchased separately.

Food will be provided by Top Butcher Market, drinks by Maria’s Mexican Restaurant, and complimentary chair massages by Touch Companies Wellness Center & Day Spa.

Space is limited. Register at triton.edu/about/alumni/alumni-glow-golf-outing-registration. Participants are encouraged to register and pay in advance. Checks, cash and credit cards are accepted. Checks should be made payable to the Triton College Foundation.
