Triton College’s Cernan Earth and Space Center Presents Itamar Zorman’s Music of the Spheres this Valentine’s Day

RIVER GROVE, Ill. – Triton College’s Cernan Earth and Space Center invites you to Itamar Zorman’s Music of the Spheres on Friday, Feb. 14, at 7 p.m. This special event will be presented LIVE from the INTUITIVE® Planetarium at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Ala., featuring internationally recognized solo violinist Itamar Zorman. This performance is being domecast to planetariums nationwide.

Zorman will perform works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Eugene Ysaye, Philip Glass and Missy Mazzoli, accompanied by stunning visuals projected onto the planetarium dome. Experience the wonders of stellar birth, supernovae, black holes and more, creating a worldly unity of sights and sounds in the planetarium.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors (55 and over), and $5 for children (2-17). Tickets can only be purchased in person at Cernan’s Star Store on the day of the show, starting at 6:30 p.m. Advance and online ticket sales are not available.

The Cernan Earth and Space Center is open Monday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-5 p.m.; Friday, 9:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; and Saturday, 6:30-9:30 p.m. The Cernan Center is closed on Sundays. Follow the Cernan Center on Facebook at facebook.com/cernancenter.
