RIVER GROVE, Ill. – The Triton College Cernan Earth and Space Center is proud to introduce an exciting new program, The Stellars: Mission Green, premiering Saturday, Aug. 2 in the Planetarium. The show will run every Saturday in August at 7 p.m. and on Wednesdays at 9:45 a.m.

The action begins when the Stellars—Imani, Aki and John—crash-land on Earth. To make matters worse, the Stellars need help to restore their ship’s ecosystem before they run out of food! This Earth science adventure showcases how plants, insects and fungi help keep our forests and their habitats healthy. All ages are encouraged to join the mission, use the scientific method to solve problems, and discover our role in protecting nature in all its forms.

The Stellars: Mission Green is a Creative Planet Production from Warsaw, Poland.

If members of the media would like to write a review of The Stellars, the Cernan Center can arrange a private show.

Twist and Shout or explore the universe with the Cernan Center’s other shows this August: The Beatles Cosmic Light Show and The SUN: Our Living Star.

The Stellars and The SUN tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for seniors (55 and over) and $4 for children (2-17). The Beatles Cosmic Light Show tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors (55 and over) and $5 for children (2-17). There are no advance or online ticket sales.
