Triton College’s SuperStrong® Assessment Help Students and Community Members Explore Career Paths

RIVER GROVE, Ill. – Triton College Career Services is helping students and community members discover their passions and career paths through the SuperStrong Assessment®, a free online tool designed to match individuals with careers that align with their interests, values and preferences.

The assessment helps participants identify occupations that reflect their strengths, explore majors and educational pathways, and connect directly with Triton College degree and certificate programs tailored to their results.

“This (tool) doesn’t just focus on skills, but more on participants’ interests and passions,” explained Lorena Gasca, Triton College Career Services director. “This is a great option for students who are undecided or a community member who wants to change career paths.”

Gasca emphasized that the assessment is available to everyone—current students, alumni and community members—and that it’s never too early or too late to begin clarifying a career direction. Research shows that identifying a clear career path early assists students with program completion, retention and personal satisfaction.

“We encourage participants to contact Career Services (and review) their assessment results together,” explained Gasca. “Once they get a personalized report, our team can help them interpret all factors and outcomes.”
