The Triton College Car Show is returning April 26, inviting car enthusiasts from across the Midwest to attend or showcase their rides in this free event—one of the first and one of the largest exhibitions of the car show season.

RIVER GROVE, Ill. — Start your engines! Triton College is revving up for the 2026 car show season with its annual Triton College Car Show on Sunday, April 26. Thousands of car enthusiasts from across the Midwest are expected to gather on the Trojan campus for a can’t-miss automotive showcase.

The show runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the West Campus parking lots at Fifth Avenue and Hemingway Drive.

Triton College’s Car Show is one of the first and one of the largest events of the car show season and free to car exhibitors and spectators alike. Visitors can experience a lively showcase of classic and antique cars, trucks and modern showstoppers, plus food, music from Triton College’s radio station, WRRG 88.9 FM, and family-friendly fun.

Get your earplugs ready for the special dynameter (“dyno”) presentation at 12 p.m. hosted by Triton’s Automotive Technology program, located on Triton’s East Campus. Free shuttle service from the West to East Campus will be provided for the demonstration.

This year, Car Show exhibitors and spectators will get to cast their votes to determine award winners in the following categories: Best in Show, Best Student Car, People’s Choice, Best Truck and Best Paint Job.

Triton’s 2025 Car Show drew more than 700 vehicles and more than 2,000 automotive fans. Watch this short video to catch a glimpse of the chrome, craftsmanship and community that made last year’s show one to remember.

Have a sweet ride you want to show off? Now’s the perfect excuse to get it out of the garage. Register now to reserve your spot. No registration is required for visitors/spectators. Alcohol, tobacco and pets are not allowed on the College’s campus.
