Triton College to Celebrate 60th Commencement with Class of 2026
RIVER GROVE, Ill. — On Saturday, May 16, Triton College will welcome 2,063 graduates ranging in age from 16 to 73 years to the ranks of its alumni at the Class of 2026 commencement ceremony. The event will begin at 3 p.m. at the Rosemont Theatre, 5400 N. River Road, in Rosemont.
This year’s ceremony also marks a special honor, as Triton College celebrates the academic achievements and dedication of its 60th graduating class.
“As we celebrate Triton College’s 60th commencement, we honor not only the achievements of the Class of 2026, but also six decades of student success,” said President Mary-Rita Moore. “This milestone reflects the strength of our community and the transformative impact that our institution has had on the lives of students.”
Of the graduating class, 27 students are completers of Triton College’s dual degree program, which allows high school students from select schools to earn both their high school diploma and an associate degree at the same time. These graduates will begin their next chapter at four-year colleges and universities as juniors this fall.
Along with this year’s commencement, Triton College will host additional completion ceremonies celebrating graduates from specific programs:
- The Nursing Pinning Ceremony, honoring students graduating with their Associate Degree in Nursing, will be held May 14 at 6 p.m.
- The Adult Education Graduation and Completion Ceremony is scheduled for May 28 at 6 p.m.
- The Workforce Empowerment Initiative (WEI) Completion Ceremony is slated for June 4 at 5 p.m.
Students, family, friends and alumni can follow commencement activities online, including via a live webcast. Visit the 2026 commencement website for information on how to view the ceremony and celebrate the Class of 2026.
