Future Forward Fair at Triton College to Explore Power of Artificial Intelligence
RIVER GROVE, Ill. — The future awaits at Triton College as the institution welcomes the community to its inaugural Future Forward Fair: AI and Technology, an interactive event exploring the power of artificial intelligence and how it is shaping education, careers, and everyday life. The fair will be held April 14 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Rooms B204-210 (B Building).
Organized by Triton’s Artificial Intelligence Education and Policy Committee (AI EPiC), the event will bring together several university partners with academic programs in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies, along with Triton departments demonstrating how AI is already being incorporated into their work and courses. Representatives from student clubs, student support areas, and other campus groups will also be present, offering a broad look at how AI is influencing student life.
“The Future Forward Fair offers an excellent opportunity for faculty and students to begin or deepen conversations about the ethical questions, practical applications, and evolving role of generative artificial intelligence in higher education,” said Dr. Gabriel Guzman, professor of Microbiology at Triton College. “We encourage faculty to consider bringing their classes or simply stop by to explore the conversations and demonstrations taking place throughout the day.”
In addition to the Triton campus community, the fair is open to the broader community, functioning in part as a recruitment opportunity, according to AI EPiC.
The fair is free and open to all.
