Celebrate Pride Month With Laser Chappell Roan at Cernan Earth and Space Center

Laser Chappell Roan will be showing every Saturday in June at 8:30 p.m. at Triton
College’s Cernan Earth and Space Center
RIVER GROVE, Ill. — This summer, the Cernan Earth and Space Center is pleased to introduce its new Laser Chappell Roan cosmic light show.
Are you ready to party at the Pink Pony Club?
This original laser light and music program features some of the Midwest Princess' top hits, paired with dazzling visual effects and brilliant laser imagery under the Cernan Center's dome to deliver a spectacular presentation for fans of the artist.
Laser Chappell Roan, showing every Saturday in June at 8:30 p.m. on Triton College’s campus, is the first original laser show produced by the Cernan Earth and Space Center since the mid-1990s, according to Kris Kovach McCall, the center's director.
The show is a great event for those looking to celebrate Pride Month with friends, said Planetarium Educator and program producer Jordan Jubeck, adding that Roan's music and image are heavily intertwined with LGBTQ+ joy and representation.
“Developing this show was a passion project for me because I’m such a huge fan of her music,” Jubeck said. “I wanted to expand our laser music offerings and create an experience that could introduce new audiences to the Cernan Center while giving existing visitors something fresh and exciting to enjoy.”
Featuring some of Chappell Roan's biggest hits, including "Good Luck, Babe!," "Pink Pony Club" and "HOT TO GO!," audience members can belt out the lyrics to their favorites or sit back and be mesmerized by the show.
Please note that this cosmic light show may contain language and themes that are not suitable for all viewers. Laser shows feature loud music and bright, flashing lights that may cause discomfort for those with light sensitivity or other health conditions. Please use discretion when selecting programs.
Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for seniors ages 55 and older, and $5 for children ages 2-17. Tickets may only be purchased in the Cernan Center's Star Store on the day of the show beginning at 6:30 p.m. There are no advance or online ticket sales.
The Cernan Center is open in the summer Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
