Triton College Invites Community to Pack the Place for Basketball Doubleheader

Triton College invites the community to fill the George T. Jorndt Athletic Complex Gymnasium for Pack the Place, an evening of high-energy, action-packed basketball and Triton Pride on Feb. 19.
RIVER GROVE, Ill. — Brace for a thrilling night of basketball at Triton College’s Pack the Place Feb. 19 at the George T. Jorndt Athletic Complex Gymnasium. Let’s make some noise as the Triton Trojans take on the Malcolm X Hawks.
“Pack the Place is all about energy and school spirit,” said Johnny Urbina, director of Student Services. “We want the gym full, the crowd loud and our teams feeling that support as they close out the regular season at home.”
Hosted by Student Life and the Triton College Alumni Association, Trojan fans and members of the community quite literally “pack the place” and cheer on both the Men’s and Women’s basketball teams as they hit the court for their last home games of the regular season.
Free hot dogs, popcorn and beverages will be available while supplies last. Giveaways will be offered to the first 100 attendees and one lucky guest will win a $100 gift card.
Schedule:
Women’s basketball: Triton College vs. Malcolm X, Feb. 19 at 5 p.m.
Men’s basketball: Triton College vs. Malcolm X, Feb. 19 at 7 p.m.
No registration is required—just come out and join the crowd.
“This is a fun, high-energy night for students, alumni and the community,” said Tina Lilly, director of Business Services. “It’s a chance to come together, enjoy basketball and show what Triton pride looks like.”
