To design something inspired. In Triton's Baking and Pastry program, you will perfect skills and master methods. Understand theory and apply it in practice. Technique is topped off with leadership lessons and the know-how to manage a bakery of your own. In the Baking & Pastry specialization you will learn the art and science of baking and how to develop your signature style. You will study the artistic principles of dessert decoration, from cupcakes to high-end wedding cakes. Do you dream of owning your own bakery, café or chocolate shop? Your classes will also cover the business side of baking, such as food safety, cost control and food service management. If you choose the Associate Degree/Transfer program, which also includes general education courses, it can give you an advantage over other job candidates and prepare you for more rapid career advancement.
