Learning happens everywhere and at all ages. Triton's Education program prepares you to meet the unique needs of child and adult learners throughout your community. You'll learn how to facilitate learning experiences and become an effective educator through courses covering human development, learning methods and leadership. Earning an Associate’s degree at Triton can provide a seamless transfer process into private and public colleges and universities in the state of Illinois. From the moment you enroll at Triton College you will have a network of success to ensure you reach your goals. With the help of our dedicated advisors and transfer center you will be supported in developing a tailor fit academic plan, explore your options and transition in to the university of your choice. Triton is also a participant of the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), a statewide agreement that allows transfer of the completed Illinois General Core Curriculum between participating IAI institutions. This ensures that your general education courses will transfer, helping you earn your 4-year degree as quickly as possible.
IF INTERESTED IN OBTAINING PARAPROFESSIONAL LICENSURE IN SCHOOL SYSTEMS, FOLLOW THE EDUCATION OR EARLY CHILDHOOD PATHWAY. This pathway is for students who intend to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at a four-year school. Students must meet general education requirements for the Associate in Arts degree, and should complete the remaining required semester hours according to the requirements of the four-year school to which they plan to transfer. Our advising team can assist you with creating an academic plan tailored fit to your transfer program and destination to ensure you are on-track.
