Overview

The Dual Degree program provides selected in-district high school juniors the opportunity to complete their Associate in Arts or Associates in Science degree while they complete their high school diploma simultaneously. Students attend classes at Triton College that will fulfill the requirements for their high school diploma and associate degree, authorizing students to move on to complete their bachelor’s degree.

Program Requirements

  • Attend the Dual Degree Orientation and summer course.
  • Attend all registration and mid-term check-ins with the Early College Academic Advisor.
  • Adhere to all college policies that pertain to traditional on-campus college students.
  • Adhere to college course requirements and learning outcomes.
  • Follow the college calendar.

High School Partnership

High schools are responsible for determining student selection criteria, sponsoring tuition, fees, and any out-of-pocket course expenses, as well as covering the cost of all courses, including but not limited to course repeats, developmental courses, and summer courses. They also make the final decision regarding the participation of Dual Degree program students each semester.
