Dear Students,

You are receiving this email because you borrowed a Chrome Book to use in your ESL or GED class.

This semester, almost 150 adult education students were able to borrow Chrome Books and we would now like to offer them to student taking summer classes.

You have three options...

OPTION 1: If you are not taking summer classes, please return your Chrome Book so that someone else can use it (check option 1 below).

OPTION 2: If you are taking a summer class you need to extend your Chrome Book Loan (check option 2 below).

OPTION 3: If you are taking a summer class and do not have access to a device (computer, laptop or Chrome Book) at home you can borrow one (check option 3 below).

This opportunity is available to students who are in dire need of a Chrome Book to complete the semester. Please only sign up if you absolutely need a device.

Those selected will receive an email (not a text) with information about when and where to pick up the Chrome Book.

Loan Period: Chrome Books must be returned on or before Tuesday, July 2, 2020 between 2-4 p.m.

The Triton College Adult Education Chrome Book Loan Program is provided for current Adult Education students. By entering your name below, you are acknowledging that you have received, read, and agree to the Triton College Chrome Book Loan Program Guidelines and to all of the statements outlined within the document. The Chrome Book Program grants sole use to the Triton student who checks out the device, power cord, and case, and enters their name below.

I accept full financial responsibility for the Laptop in the event of loss, damage, theft, or other events resulting in my inability to return the Laptop in the condition at check-out
I agree to pay all costs (up to $450) associated with any damage, loss, or theft of the Chrome Book while checked out to me
I agree that if I lose or damage the power cord I will have to replace it
I understand that the College will use any and all appropriate means to collect amount owed for fines, damage, loss, or theft of the Chrome Book
I will not leave the Chrome Book unattended at any time
I will not tamper with the hardware, software, or any components of the Chrome Book.
All Chrome Book are reconfigured upon check-in, which wipes all added files, documents, etc
I understand that Triton College is not responsible for any loss of personal documents/files due to viruses or other malfunctions or events

I understand that this Chrome Book is the property of Triton College and it must be returned on Tuesday, July 2, 2020. Failure to return the Chrome Book within the time frame allotted will be considered lost
