With Triton's Environmental Science program you will combine natural sciences (biology, chemistry, geology) and social sciences (economics, politics, ethics) to find answers to important questions about interactions in the environment, including cause-and-effect relationships and the impact of humans on the natural environment.

Triton is also a participant of the Illinois Articulation Initiative (IAI), a statewide agreement that allows transfer of the completed Illinois General Core Curriculum between participating IAI institutions. This pathway is for students who intend to pursue a Bachelor of Arts degree at a four-year school.
Students must meet general education requirements for the Associate in Arts degree, and should complete the remaining required semester hours according to the requirements of the four-year school to which they plan to transfer.
