Experience nature and the great outdoors.
Participants will plant a Shumard’s Oak tree, also known as the Red Swamp Oak. Donated to Triton by the Morton Arboretum, this native tree provides many benefits to the local ecosystems.
Triton College President Mary-Rita Moore will join students and representatives from Franklin Park’s Village Tree Committee.
This event is free and open to the public.
Tree enthusiasts of all ages are welcome to attend.
