Triton Hosts “Second Chance Job and Resource Fair” June 14

Following the success of the first-ever Second Chance Job and Resource Fair in 2017, the event will return to Triton College June 14.

Triton College is hosting a special event designed to help people overcome their past mistakes and take steps toward a prosperous future.

On Thursday, June 14, more than 30 employers from throughout the area will be on campus for the second annual “Second Chance Job and Resource Fair,” where they’ll help provide individuals facing barriers to employment with promising job opportunities and a chance to get a fresh start.

The event, which is FREE to attend and open to the community, runs from noon- 3 p.m. in room B- 203/204 of the Triton College Student Center (B Building), located at 2000 Fifth Ave., River Grove.

Job seekers will have the opportunity to meet with employers from a variety of fields, including “felony friendly employers.” Attendees will also have access to a variety of resources that will help them achieve professional and personal success.

Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their résumé and dress professionally for the fair.
