Take Back the Night – Tuesday, April 16
Students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to support the mission of ending sexual violence and support victims and survivors during the Take Back the Night rally and remembrance walk.
The event will take place Tuesday, April 16, 6-8 p.m., on the outdoor mounds located on the west side of campus.
The event will include remarks from survivors and victims of sexual violence, as well as information tables, counselors, music and refreshments for attendees. A walk around the Student Center Mounds will commence at approximately 6:30 p.m. to raise awareness and create a community that stands up to sexual violence.
The event is organized in collaboration with the Triton College Student Association and the Office on Violence Against Women grant project. Pillars Community Health and Sarah’s Inn will provide resources at the event as well.
