Triton College COVID-19 update

As we prepare for spring break, it is important to provide you with an update of actions on our campus regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19).

I want to emphasize that there are presently no employee or student cases of COVID-19 at Triton College. We continue to monitor Cook County Department of Public Health (CCDPH), Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) updates to stay informed of new cases and recommendations to ensure the safety of our students and employees. The College has contingency plans in place in the event of any impact on our campus, to hopefully ensure minimal interruption to classes and services.

I appreciate Triton’s Operations and Maintenance staff for their daily commitment to ensuring CDC-recommended cleaning practices across campus. It is essential that every Triton student and employee follow CDC guidelines.

As we receive updates regarding COVID-19, please know we will share those with you. Please regularly check Triton’s Coronavirus (COVID-19) page for updated information. A video from Laura Hill, our Director of Health Services, has been added, which provides recommendations for hand hygiene and sanitation best practices.
