Board of Trustees announces agreement with campus police

The Triton College Board of Trustees announced today it agreed to a five-year extension to the full-time Illinois Council of Police (ICOPS) Collective Bargaining Agreement covering July 2019 through June 2024. The modified terms and negotiated increases in pay will become effective April 1, 2021. ICOPS, which represents members of the Triton College Police Department, unanimously approved the agreement. 

“Student success is our priority, and the men and women of the Triton College Police Department are vital to ensuring a safe campus community for them,” said Mark Stephens, Chairman of the Triton College Board of Trustees. “With this agreement, we look forward to continuing to partner with the men and women who protect this campus on a daily basis to ensure a positive campus experience for our students.
