Triton College Hosts Annual Free Event, Movie on the Mounds

Triton College’s Office of Student Life and Triton College Student Association will host the annual Movie on the Mounds on Friday, Sept. 23. Minions: The Rise of Gru, will begin at sundown, approximately 7 p.m. No registration is required and all community members are invited. 

Movie on the Mounds is a free event, that includes free popcorn and beverages. Hot dogs will be sold for $1 while supplies last. Attendees must bring their own blankets. No alcohol is allowed on Triton’s campus. 

“Community is very important to Triton College,” said Johnny Urbina, director of Student Services. “Movie on the Mounds is a great time for the entire family, while enjoying Triton’s beautiful campus.”
