The Triton College Library will host its Now Showing series this November, featuring films in celebration of Native American Heritage Month. Screenings will take place in the Library classroom (A Building, Room A-215).

The Secret Life of Whitetails
Thursday, Nov. 6, 2 p.m.
This wildlife documentary explores the magnificent life cycle of deer. Catch the breathtaking scenes of their world and how they live.
What Was Ours
Thursday, Nov. 13, 2 p.m.
What Was Ours is a story of a young journalist and a teenage powwow princess, both of the Arapaho tribe, as they travel in search of missing artifacts in the archives of Chicago’s Field Museum. Discovering a treasure trove of objects, the women recover what has been lost and establish high hopes for the future.
Te Ata
Thursday, Nov. 20, 2 p.m.
Te Ata is based on the true story of Mary Thompson Fisher, a woman who became one of the greatest Native American actresses of her time. Besides acting, Te Ata (her stage name) was known for her artistic interpretations of Native American stories and for her children’s book that she co-authored on the subject.
