Now Showing - April

The Triton College Library will host its Now Showing series this April, featuring films in honor of Autism Awareness Month, Arab American Heritage Month and Earth Day. Screenings will take place in the Library classroom (A Building, Room A-215).

Swim Team: Competitive Young Swimmers on the Autism Spectrum

Thursday, April 2, 2 p.m.

After a community gives up on a boy with autism, his parents take matters into their own hands – by forming a competitive swim team.

 

The Story Won’t Die

Thursday, April 9, 2 p.m.

This film is an inspiring and timely look at a young generation of Syrian artists who use their work in form of protest.

 

We are Not Princesses

Thursday, April 16, 2 p.m.

Get a glimpse into the thoughts, memories and dreams of Syrian refugee mothers, sisters and wives living in Beirut.

 

NOVA: Decoding the Weather Machine

Thursday, April 23, 2 p.m.

Curious about weather and climate? Join scientists to better understand planet Earth.

 

National Parks Adventure

Thursday, April 30, 2 p.m.

Explore America’s most legendary outdoor playgrounds, such as Yellowstone, Glacier National Park, Yosemite and Arche. Narrated by Robert Redford, this film captures the nation’s awe-inspiring outdoors.
