Global Music Series: Sounds of Ireland

Experience the sounds of Ireland at Triton College’s Global Music Series. The Visual, Performing and Communication Arts Department presents James Conway and Mike Austin from Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music, performing traditional Irish instrumental dance tunes.

Hear the tin whistles, harmonicas, bodhran, guitar and voice as Conway and Austin carry on the traditions of Irish music.

The performance is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4 from 7 to 8 p.m. in the Fine Arts Gallery, Room J-107 (J building).
