Mental Health First Aid Training
Learn how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illness and substance use disorders by registering for the Mental Health First Aid Training on Monday, March 16 and 17, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in Room B-270 (B Building). Gather techniques to support individuals who are struggling and connect them with appropriate resources.
This optional training must be completed as a two-day, in-person block cohort, and includes two hours of pre-work. Participants who are unable to complete this certification within the two days must restart the course and will not receive compensation until the training is fully completed.
Training is fully covered. Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Students only will receive a $90 stipend for completing the QPR Suicide Preventiontrainingor Mental Health First training (not both).
