Free College
You may be eligible to attend Triton College at no cost this fall.
Here's Why
This year, the State of Illinois has put $100 million more dollars into the MAP grant to ensure every working-class student can attend community college tuition free. The only way to find out if you can come to Triton for free is to file the FAFSA.
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) offers two types of grants: the Pell grant (a federal grant) and the MAP grant (a state grant). Grants are not loans. You do not pay the money back.
Approximately 1/3 of our students who submit a FAFSA will get college for free. Even if you don't get classes entirely for free, you will likely get money to put towards your tuition costs. This is money you do not pay back.
