CLEP (College Level Examination Program)

The College Level Examination Program (CLEP) is a group of credit-by-examinations tests used to assess college-level knowledge obtained through prior learning and life experience. CLEP offers students the opportunity to demonstrate their proficiency in subject areas and bypass undergraduate coursework. More than 2,900 colleges and universities accept CLEP scores and award college credit for passing scores.

Qualifying scores may vary by institution and exam. Candidates are encouraged to check with their credit-granting institution to verify that the exam will meet their curriculum needs.
