Make it a Smarter Summer

SUMMER CLASSES BEGIN MAY 26, 2020

Triton College will offer 3 types of courses this summer. Students in all courses will be required to have access to a computer, WiFi service and a webcam for successful completion of courses.

Online: Courses designed for fully online instruction that meet asynchronously. In asynchronous learning, students complete courses on their own time. Students are responsible for participating in course activities, submitting assignments, completing assessments online, and meeting deadlines as established by the instructor.

Emergency Remote Learning (ERL): Emergency remote learning is a face-to-face course that has moved into a virtual platform as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Courses meet online on specified days at specific times. Students are responsible for participating in course activities, submitting assignments, completing assessments online, and meeting deadlines as established by the instructor.

Blended: Courses that require hands-on experience to meet course objectives include both face-to-face meetings and online instruction. Safe practices and social distancing recommendations will be followed for on campus portions of the course. Students are responsible for participating in course activities, submitting assignments, completing assessments online, and meeting deadlines as established by the instructor. Blended courses are part of the career and technical education programs.
