Dr. James Halm, adjunct sociology instructor at Triton College, encourages his students to see the world through a different lens—bringing a fresh and engaging approach to the classroom. That distinctive teaching style earned him the Outstanding Adjunct Faculty of the Year Award this past spring.

Receiving the honor was both “overwhelming” and “amazing,” Dr. Halm said.
